  • Antique Belgian Blue Honed Limestone tiles feature deep blue-grey tones with visible fossils and natural variation. We source only from established Belgian quarries to ensure consistent quality and reliable strength. Moreover, the antique finish enhances surface texture while keeping stable dimensions. Consequently, it suits both period renovations and modern projects.

The honed surface provides a smooth, low sheen finish ideal for indoor bespoke projects such as wall cladding, skirting and worktops. In addition, the uniform size and thickness allow precise cutting, tight joints and straight edges. The darker colour creates strong contrast in kitchens, hallways, and circulation spaces. Meanwhile, the light surface texture reduces glare and excessive reflection.

In terms of performance, this stone provides high compressive strength and strong wear resistance. When correctly sealed, it handles heavy domestic foot traffic with ease. Furthermore, it works effectively with under floor heating systems when installed to best practice standards. Therefore, it offers trade professionals a durable, characterful and reliable bespoke solution for indoor projects.

  • Following installation, we recommend sealing limestone to improve performance and longevity. Specifically, apply a high quality breathable sealer to reduce porosity and prevent stains. As a result, you restrict moisture ingress and minimise surface wear in high traffic or external areas.

For ongoing care, maintain the surface with routine dry sweeping and also periodic cleaning using a pH neutral stone cleaner. However, avoid acidic or abrasive compounds, as they compromise the calcite structure. In addition, schedule resealing according to site exposure and usage levels. Consequently, with correct maintenance, this stone will deliver long term wear and a consistent appearance.
