  • Belgian Blue Limestone delivers deep blue-grey tones with natural fossil inclusions, so it creates controlled visual movement across floor installations. In addition, we hone the surface to achieve a smooth, low sheen finish with consistent texture to support precise joints and straight lines.

Moreover, this limestone offers excellent strength and long-term durability for indoor bespoke projects such as wall cladding, skirting, worktops and staircases. When correctly sealed, it resists routine wear and surface marking. In addition, the honed finish of Belgian Blue Limestone provides a flat substrate compatible with under floor heating systems. The material also maintains stable dimensions under typical interior temperature fluctuations.

Furthermore, the darker tonal range of Belgian Blue Limestone increases contrast within contemporary layouts. It performs particularly well on stairs, worktops, feature walls and circulation areas. However, the natural fossil patterns soften the overall visual weight. Consequently, it offers trade professionals a technically robust and visually distinctive bespoke solution.

  • Following installation, we recommend sealing limestone to improve performance and longevity. Specifically, apply a high quality breathable sealer to reduce porosity and prevent stains. As a result, you restrict moisture ingress and minimise surface wear in high traffic or external areas.

For ongoing care, maintain the surface with routine dry sweeping and also periodic cleaning using a pH neutral stone cleaner. However, avoid acidic or harsh compounds, as they compromise the calcite structure. In addition, schedule resealing according to site exposure and usage levels. Consequently, with correct maintenance, limestone will deliver long term wear and a consistent appearance.
