  • Dijon Fossil Limestone brings the natural beauty of natural limestone into interior spaces. Indeed, quarried in Egypt, it combines light beige tones with soft fossil and quartz markings, giving each piece unique character. It’s consistently flat surface has a honed and tumbled finish, which ensures a clean, refined look for hallways, kitchens and also open plan living areas.

This limestone is perfect for cut to size tiles, parquet, cabochon, wall cladding, skirting and work tops, making it highly versatile for interior projects. Moreover, installers value its strength, as it resists heavy foot traffic whilst also keeping its elegant appearance over time. The tumbled edges and subtle texture also create a gently aged effect, adding a timeless, lived in feel.

Aesthetically, Dijon Fossil Limestone blends with both traditional rural interiors and contemporary designs alike. It’s warm, neutral colours enhance a wide range of schemes, while natural variation adds subtle depth. In summary, it delivers lasting quality, practical performance and elegance for any space.

  • Following installation, we recommend sealing limestone to improve performance and longevity. Specifically, apply a high quality sealer to reduce porosity and prevent stains. As a result, you restrict liquid ingress and minimise surface wear in high traffic or external areas.

For ongoing care, maintain the surface with a routine dry sweep and also periodic cleaning using a pH neutral stone cleaner. However, avoid acidic or harsh compounds, as they compromise the calcite structure. In addition, schedule resealing according to site exposure and usage levels. Consequently, with the correct care, this limestone will deliver long term wear and a consistent appearance.
