Antique Fossil Pearl Limestone

This superb warm beige paving is sourced from Egpyt. The antique finish is created by first sawing the stone into 900×600 slabs. It is then acid etched for improved grip and texture. Finally the slabs are tumbled, softening the edges and surface creating a time worn aesthetic.

Reasons for choosing an antique finish include

• The pavings weathered appearance lends itself to older properties
• The tumbling process gives the paving a relaxed, worn in feel
• The acid etching process improves slip resistance, which is especially desirable for swimming pool surrounds and copings

Antique Fossil Pearl Limestone is a beautiful natural stone containing ancient fossils, quartz deposits and subtle veining. Each tile is completly unique from the next when viewed closely, however over a larger area a charming consistency is found.
