For those seeking a sophisticated and adaptable paving option, look no further than our Graphite Limestone.
Graphite limestone has been one of our most popular natural stone pavings over the last few years. Unlike some of our other natural stone pavings which contain a variety of colours, the Graphite limestone has a consistent grey palette. This makes it a versatile and stylish option for any garden.
Graphite Limestone is the perfect middle ground between contemporary
porcelain and rustic sandstone. Its sawn edges and light tonal
variation give it a contemporary apparence, whilst retaining
the character of natural stone.
This project by Finescape Ltd has used it to contrast white rendered walls with matching Graphite limestone as copings. The grey tones of the paving create a netral back drop that would allow colourful planting to shine.
We stock our Graphite Limestone in in either 900×600 only or 4 size patio packs, both with machine cut edges. The machine cut edges allow you to lay the slabs closer together than our hand cut products. This creates a neater, more contemporary aesthetic reminiscent of porcelain tiles.
See here in this project by Alda Landscapes how interest has been added by varying the direction of the paving, enclosed in two beautiful circles. The circles have been picture framed by our Black Limetone edging setts, creating a perfect contrast and outline to the areas.
Anthracite grey bifold doors have been a popular trend the last few years. Choosing a paving that compliments this vogue is important to create an enjoyable indoor/outdoor living space.
This beautiful garden retreat has been created using our Graphite Limestone paving in patio packs, with the modern summer house hunkered down between the trees. A perfect getaway from the throes of modern life.
The paving is hand split, then sawn into perfectly uniform slabs. The hand split surface of the stone is lightly riven and naturally non slip.
However, it is worth noting that this pavings colour will gradually lighten over time. For some customers this is part of the charm of choosing a natural stone paving over porcelain. The attraction of a beautiful stone like this over porcelain is the lightly undulating texture of each slab and subtle variety throughout. In some cases imperfection is perfection and this is something man made porcelain tiles will never be able to recreate.
